December 8th, Fado will host a Toys for Tots fundraiser starting at 6:30 pm. Gorilla FC, Fado, and the US Marines will be present along with a raffle, prizes, a silent auction, pub quiz, and live music with Justin and Ronan. Come support this great cause!

ST. BALDRICK’S FOUNDATION

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation returns with the support of Fado in their fight against childhood cancer by holding a fundraiser in early March. Individuals raise money and show their true support by getting their head shaved at the event.

NO SOCCER TO WATCH THIS WINTER??? NO PROBLEM!

All had a great time, and James Riley led the event and brought along Blaise NKufo, Brad Evans and Steve Zakuani.

Seattle Sounders #7, James Riley and some of his teammates, and play in the James Riley 7-A-Side Youth Soccer Tournament. All the proceeds benefit the Renton/Skyway Boys & Girls Club.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS:

Who: B-U10, G-U10, B-U12, G-U12

When: Sunday, October 3, 2010; 8am-5pm

Where: Arena Sports – Redmond

Cost: $40 per player ($400 per team w/a 10 person roster). All proceeds to benefit the Renton/Skyway Boys & Girls Club.

What: Guaranteed 3 – 30 minute games– more if you get to the finals! (minimum 3 games, maximum 5 games)

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, September 29, 10. Register through Arena Sports by calling 425.885.4881 or online at www.arenasports.net

Roster size: 9 players minimum (memberships not required)
House teams are available.

Every player that enters will receive a signed James Riley photo card, plus every team will receive a professional team photo signed by James and his attending teammates! The winners and runners up will receive a trophy presented by James Riley himself.

Once your team is formed and your deposit is paid, your teammates can register and pay online on their own – without your help! Instructions on how to register online are below.

Match 6 Vs Toronto FC is Sunday and we will be at the Summit as well at 1030am!

We have a Tifo night coming up in making banners and flags, as well as working on atmosphere in general and chants. There will be a GFC sponsored workshop on racism in football and fighting facists in communities.

    Gorilla FC 2010 kits are sold out.

    Gorilla FC 2011 Membership package is $30 and comes with aa 2011 Gorilla FC 2010 scarf, a Gorilla FC Shirt, a Gorilla FC Membership Card, the GFC button, discounts at our partner businesses and establishments,cheaper tickets in our section, priority booking and cheaper prices on our special events and trips to road games. This membership is good for all of the 2011 season.  Kits will arrive in mid December.

    Membership dues can be paid at events or here.

    The dues are used to pay for GFC promotional materials(banners), events and Tifo/flags.
