We are in the playoffs! (again)

Sounders will play RSL Nov 2nd Preparty with us at Fado at 330pm on Friday!

These seats are all in Sec. 120 starting in the first 15 rows! Currently available rows are Row E through Q. The match is 11/2 at 630pm.  These will be distributed as first come, first serve.  After purchase, tickets will be emailed to you. Tickets are $28.00.

Must be a paid 2012 GFC member to purchase these (4 tickets per member).  If you haven’t paid your 2012 dues, you can do so: http://www.gorillafc.com/join/   Membership will be checked after purchase by the ticket ape, and any nonmember purchases will be refunded.

For the away game, GFC will watch the Nov. 8th match at 600pm at Autobattery! Members get discounts, so bring your card and scarf.

After October, comes Movember!

MLS W.O.R.K.S. will match funds raised by the highest individual fundraiser in the MLS Network (individual person, not team). The highest fundraiser will also receive the Soccer Kicks Cancer Prize Pack, which includes:
  • One (1) $500 VISA Gift Card
  • One (1) Panasonic Shave Kit (includes 5-cutting blade system shaver, Body Shaver, Beard & Hair Trimmer and Nose & Ear Trimmer – a $785 value)
  • One (1) copy of FIFA Soccer 13
MLS W.O.R.K.S. is looking forward to seeing those ‘MOs and beating the 2011 total funds raised of $45,000.
Also, at the end of the month, FADO is having a huge party on Nov. 30th where all the mustaches come out to party, celebrate the journey and auction/raffle party!
Come to the Woodland Park Zoo with us and some Sounders! If you want to come to the zoo complimentary, email kevin@gorillafc.com The date is: Thursday, Nov. 1, beginning 9:30 am.  Please do not chant/yell as it spooks animals!

The GORILLA FC End of Year party is set for Dec. 14th
To be held at Golazo HQ on 714 E. Pike. It will be a night of fun, music, great times and beer!!!!
Ticket presales will be launched soon!  This will also be a fundraiser for our 2013 GFC Charity Partner program! Get signed up for our Home Brew contest!GFC Homebrewers!!! The First Annual GFC Homebrew Competition will be held at the GFC End of Year Party, set for December 14th. If you would like to participate in this contest for bragging rights drop us a line at gfcbeerproject@googlegroups.com ASAP so we can figure out logistics. The Beer Category will be American Pale Ale and Entry fee will be $5 per entry up to 2 entries.
And speaking of Gorilla FC Charity Partner Program, we are 17% of our 2013 goal! We ask for each member to donate $5-$10 that GFC uses to purchase tickets which we donate to our charity partners. This year we supported 17 different charities with tickets and a prize package, which they either use for clients, auction to raise funds or have a staff reward.  Please help us reach our goal by donating whatever you can!  We want to support more charities! Every year, GFC members run for Sounders FC Alliance Council.

The council works hard to represent supporters and fans in meeting with the Sounders front office to discuss issues of importance to us all as Sounders fans.  There are numerous issues that directly affect Gorilla FC, so it’s important we use our votes to get GFC on council.

It takes 25 votes from other Sounders season ticket holders to get on council.  You can vote at: https://eballot4.votenet.com/seattlesoccer/login.cfm by entering your email and account number on any computer or device (like Civ’s Ipad).  You can get your account number from your Sounders ticket rep if needed.

Our current GFC endorsement is  Jeff Randle.  Please vote for him.

Want to be on Sounders Alliance Council and represent Gorilla FC in making our club the best club around? Join the democratic process by being on the Gorilla FC Ballot and get 25 votes to qualify. Being on Alliance Council has an expectation of attending one meeting a month with fellow council members.  If you want to run for Alliance Council with GFC’s support, email gorillafcmembcouncil@googlegroups.com and state why you want to be on council.

Rain City Pariah

For the first time ever, Gorilla FC has announced an addition our family. Rain City Pariah Football Collective (RCP) is a Seattle Sounders FC Supporters Collective and Gorilla FC subgroup dedicated to the Arts. The mission of Rain City Pariah is twofold. First, it is to celebrate the rich history of the Arts in Seattle by creating a subgroup of GFC that both follows the credo and code of GFC and incorporates those from the Arts communities (or fans of the Arts communities) into GFC. Second, RCP will seek to support the local Arts Organizations, especially those that provide arts opportunities for children.
