In front of yet another record breaking crowd, We watched #18′s last regular home game on Saturday October 15th against San Jose. Granted we have him through the playoffs (and MLS cup final) this was the night to thank and pay tribute to one of the greatest goalkeepers the US has ever produced. 64,140 (the 4th largest soccer crowd in the world that weekend) watched Keller make save after save to help us keep the points at home and earning him the Save of the week title. Thank you Kasey.

J.R Gorilla Juice Bar
Run by members of the Renton/Skyway Boys and Girls Club as part of their City of Renway “microsociety,” was open for business as part of the club’s Harvest Festival Marketplace on October 16th. “J R” stands for Sounders defender James Riley, who has adopted the club as his personal community service project, and “Gorilla” pays tribute to the fundraising work Gorilla FC does for the club. This year’s James Riley 7-a-side youth tournament, co-sponsored by Gorilla FC, on Aug. 28 raised over $15,000 for the Renton/Skyway Boys and Girls Club. The Club’s microsociety program, which has won a national Boys and Girls Club award last, puts kids in charge of their own government, law enforcement and businesses. Here are some pictures from the event. Riley, named the Sounders Humanitarian of the Year for the second straight year, is joined here beneath the new J R Gorilla Juice Bar sign by Sounders striker Fredy Montero.
