Spring cleaning is in full effect. We have a great Gorilla FC event to come join for the Gorilla FC Seattle Works project. See more info below. GFC has grown so much this year, and continues to do so. Thanks for bringing your friends out and spreading the word. This month brings the Sounders first regular season derby match vs. our northwest rivals — Portland Timbers. It will be great having the rivalry alive and strong, and showing the rest of the country why the northwest is the focus of soccer to come in the States. May also has the Euro Champions League Final which we will watch at the Taphouse!

Yes it’s the same day as the Sounders vs Sporting KC match. If you can’t join us, you can still donate in honor of Gorilla FC’s team by the following link! This event is open to all! GFC members and nonmembers! We will start working around 1200 at the Wintonia Shelter, and then there is post service happy hour at 330. Euro Champions League Final 5/28 at 1030am!
Gorilla FC will be watching the Euro Champs. League Final at Tap House downtown. They have over 160 taps and great food. GFC members get $1 off all beers on tap with GFC card at Sounders/GFC viewings. The final is on a Saturday morning, so come watch it with us. Barca, Man. U., Madrid or Schalke. It will be a great day. There is also a Sounders @ RSL away game at 600pm that we are watching at Tap House as well.

Away Trip to Portland Game Update
Extra reminder that the MLS has moved the game time of the July away Timbers leg to 1pm from 2pm. Our bus will be accounting for this(earlier departure-fun) and just make sure you know if you are heading down on your own. You can pick up your tickets only if you purchased them at the DC United Vs Sounders away game at the Dray on 5/4/2011 430. Otherwise they will be mailed to you.

Temple Billards
Many Gorilla FC members head to Temple Billiards after home game to partake in some really well priced drinks. They have a deal there where you can get a pint of Brougham Bitter and a shot of Jameson for $8. Not a bad deal…
