WORLD CUP 2010 WRAP UP

World Cup 2010 has just wrapped up and what a tournament it has been. We have been having a blast taking in all of the games at our various partner bars of Spitfire, Summit and Fado.th versus Philadelphia. We will be meeting at Summit in Seattle and in Tacoma at Paddy Coynes.

Upcoming Sounders FC and Gorilla FC Events

Bring on the CONCACAF Champions League! What a month of soccer that is in store for us! Oh yeah, who is going to Brazil for 2014?

 7/18/2010 Celtic at Sounders FC (Home)

GFC will pre-party at Fado at 10 am. Fado should be lively since a ton of Celtic fans go to Fado. Additionally, many are flying in for the game. Slacker march is at 1130 am for this friendly match.

 7/25/2010 Colorado Rapids at Sounders FC (Home)

SSFC hosts Colorado with a 730 pm start time. GFC will meet at Fado at 4 pm to pre-party with a slacker march at 7 pm. Go CIV!

 7/28/2010 Metapan of El Salvador versus Sounders FC (Home)

Gorilla FC hosts Metapan at 7 pm for the CONCACAF Champions League. This is the first leg of two with the away game happening in early August. GFC is encouraging members to get tickets in section 120, if possible, by calling Gary Boyle at 425-203-8303.

 7/31/2010 San Jose Earthquakes versus Sounders FC (Away)

Sounders FC travel to San Jose with a starting match time of 7 pm. GFC will be at Summit in Seattle and Paddy Coynes in Tacoma. Members get discounts at Summit.

GFC Tifo Contest

Gorilla FC is having a Tifo contest. At an upcoming Sounders FC game, GFC will have a contest for the best flag, banner, or two-pole. Start making your entry and submit your creation to our contest. More details to come.

Road Trip! Road Trip! Road Trip!

GFC is hitting the road for Sounders FC away games. The first one was July 4th in Los Angeles, with the next trip happening 9/25/2010 in Chicago.

There are discounts on airfare (20%), and if enough people jump aboard, there is a hotel discount as well.
