After a great match at Qwest, there was a text that said we should head to the Best Western at 6th and Bell. Some Gorillas and I walked from Fado to Belltown. 4 of us in Sounders kits, and 2 not. When we get there, there are many activists and Anti-Racist Action Network members hanging about mentioning that there are riot cops. All of us walk straight in the hotel in 2 groups, Sounders fans and two dudes who are just dudes. We heard about this event from the Anti-Rascist Action Network! The Sounders guys walk past the cops and the two normal dudes walk behind them. Somehow we all end up in the toilet. One of the Gorillas at the toilet notices there is a Nazi looking ahole and says, “where you from?” and the answer is, “San Fran” but in a german accent. The Gorilla asks the Nazi punk another question at the pisser with, “oh where else you from?” and he replies with, “Germany-Dresden,” which the other pissing gorilla says, “oh, do you like Kurt Vonnegut?” The Nazi replies, ” Yes!” The Gorilla says do you like Slaughterhouse 5? It is about that!” German nazi dude says, “yes, in fact there is a guy speaking about Dresden in the other room right there(points right outside the pisser)……blah blah blah germans being bombed.” The Gorilla then walked into the door that he pointed to and looked for an open seat. David Irving says to him, “are you here for the event?” and the gorilla quickly found an open seat next to a blonde girl whose boots were in the open seat in the room(only about 50 seats) and says, “Im in that seat if it is available?” Blonde lady moves her disgusting boots and the gorilla sits.
There were about 40-50 people in the room. Most were above the age of 50 to 60. David Irving looks 60. According to the gorilla, “he was mostly speaking about how Himler is to blame for all the attrocities and how Hitler was innocent. The gorilla stated that he didnt know what to do? How does a true antiracist respond to sitting in a room full of Nazi scum listening to an ahole speak about nonsense? There was no plan. This all seemed to work just too perfectl. We just walked in and did it. We were a bit undercover as we didnt have black Los Crudos shirts on. But had the Nazis never heard of antiracist soccer fans before? The gorilla began taking photos of people in the room. After the Nazi was done talking for awhile, he stopped and declared that after a short break, “there would be a question and answer session!”
At this point, the gorilla was bumped in his seat from behind a couple times. It heated up a bit and in true Ali G fashion, the Gorilla stood up and said, “hi guys.” Some boneheads started getting closer to the gorilla and they began asking why was he there….he replied, “to learn about “history”" which the boneheads didn’t reply to. They then began saying that this was a private event and that the gorilla needed to leave. There were about 5 guys in his face and moving him towards the door. At this point David Irving says, “do you have a ticket for this event?” and the Gorilla replies, “Nazi Punks Fuck Off” with middle fingers up and walks out the door unscathed. Hotel security left everyone alone.
Gorilla walked out and joined the other Antiracist activists at the Funhouse. All of us headed back to the Best Western(why were they allowing Nazi’s speak there?) Again there were about 5 nazis that were big and in there 20-30′s, but most of the people were in their 50′s and 60s. We began yelling at the nazi’s that were leaving the hotel and it turns out that we cut there meeting short due to our interuption, we decided that we would be contacting Best Western asking why they allowed Nazi’s to speak at their hotel. The police guarded the Nazis , and provided security(although one cool cop was hear saying, “we don’t want them here either”).
After a couple drinks at the Funhouse, Gorillas decided to head back to Best Western. Surprisingly, the Nazi’s were sitting at the door waiting for a ride(momma nazi?). After a brief exchange, one of them mentions that our protest was the reason that they got kicked out of the hotel. We all walked straight to the bar. We began drinking to celebrate smashing the fascist party. Eventually a bookish Nazi walks up to the Gorillas at the bar and the nice bartender. He gets a beer and begins talking about his revisionist history. Eventually he begins spouting racist nonsense. It begins to get a little heated and the awesome bartender gets rid of him from the bar. The bartender removed the Nazi punk and all was well in the freeworld. Gorilla continued drinking! David Irving is a British writer of histories who has been involved with the fascist political scene since the 1960s. Always known for the pro-Hitler bias of his books, approximately two decades ago Irving made the transition to being a fully-fledged Holocaust-denier, when he testified at the trial of neo-Nazi Ernst Zündel in Canada, and also arranged the publication of Fred Leuchter’s widely-refuted report on gas chambers at Auschwitz. In addition to spreading blatant historical lies, Irving has publicly stated that “The Jews are the architects of their own misfortune”. Unsurprisingly, Irving has been an extremely popular speaker at neo-Nazi rallies in Germany.
In the British libel case Irving v. Penguin Books and Lipstadt, the final ruling in favor of the defendants confirmed that Irving “is an active Holocaust denier” and that “he is anti-Semitic and racist and that he associates with right-wing extremists who promote neo-Nazism.” In 2006, Irving was jailed in Austria after pleading guilty to a charge of “trivializing the Holocaust”, which is a crime in that county. Since his release, Irving has been marketing himself as a former “political prisoner”.
Irving’s current tour focuses on “Re-writing history, using the decoded Nazi messages” (see: focal.org). The re-writing of Third Reich history—especially in relation to the Nazi “Final Solution” for Europe’s Jewish population—is a major preoccupation for modern neo-Nazis and neo-fascists, who correctly believe that memory of the Holocaust is a significant barrier to the mainstreaming of their beliefs. The Holocaust is denied so that, paradoxically, it can be repeated. Wherever Irving appears, he is backed and promoted by virulent anti-Semites and fascist organizers.
Irving’s bogus history is both blatantly offensive and incorrect. However, we oppose Irving not for what he thinks, but rather for what he does. As the name of his own publishing project suggests, Irving serves as a “focal point” to bring Jew-haters and goose-steppers together. He is part of a political tendency that is actively organizing for ethnic and racial hostilities, and in particular to persecute Jewish people. (James von Brunn’s murder of a security guard at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is one recent example of where this anti-Semitic and neo-Nazi tendency can lead. Von Brunn moved within many of the same circles that promote Irving’s work.)
We believe that fascist activism and movement-building should meet with organized resistance. As the Anti-Racist Action Network states in its Points of Unity:
“Whenever fascists are organizing or active in public, we’re there. We don’t believe in ignoring them or staying away from them. Never let the nazis have the street!”

Yesterday David Irving, infamous Holocaust denier and British Nationalist Party leading member spoke in Seattle. About 50 people, most older attended.
Anti Fascists in the area counted about 4-10 boneheads.

David Irving did not reveal location until approx 12 hours ahead of 3pm speech.
we did not find out his location of his speech until 1pm yesterday.
According to the hotel restaurant, “Brellas,” the only convention sleighted for yesterday was the “Seattle Clown Convention.” It is possible that David Irving may have booked another hotel in Portland for today’s speech under “Portland Clown Convention.” It should be noted that we did not see any clowns, only Nazis yesterday.
